Remind me that we'll always have each other

Labor day weekend was the perfect getaway. I cannot describe how much I enjoyed my time with my closest friends. When we reunite, it is like no time has passed and everything picks up where it left off. It was relaxing and so very fun catching up and spending time with the new baby additions to our group. I would post photos, but I forgot my camera in Austin and have to rely on the pictures everyone else took. I can't wait until next year. I hope we keep this tradition up for years and years.

On Monday night Hayden and I went to the Incubus concert at Auditorium Shores. It is one of the best venues ever! I could actually see the stage most of the time. I was so impressed with their live show. The tickets were my birthday gift to Hayden, so it was great to finally go. I had been looking forward to it since February. With an older band, you have to expect that they won't play every song that you love since they have so many, but they played a lot of great ones. My favorite was Dig from their newest album. I flipped out and sang my little heart out. I love that Hayden and I have a love for live music that we can share together. Speaking of, ACL is fast approaching. Incubus just got me that much more excited about everything we are going to see this year. I think sometime soon Hayden and I are going to make a list of everyone we have seen together. It's quite a list. Hayden had to sneak my camera in his pants so we wouldn't have to take it back to the car which was like 2 miles away. I think it was worth it for a few blurry shots.


I swear JD had a good time, he may have just been camera shy.
