Time Is Standing Still

I forgot to take a picture of kenli and I so I put this one up because I love it.

Growing up in Austin, we made a few trips down to San Antonio, New Braunfels, the coast, etc. But always on the way we would have to stop at the dreaded outlet mall in San Marcos. Really I want to say the Damn outlet malls, but thought it might be inappropriate. For some, this could be considered Heaven, a bunch of stores all in a row, marked down prices, who wouldn't love it. Well, I sure don't. I think of the outlet malls and literally put myself in 100 degree weather, endless walking from store to store with no shade, (when I was a kid I was really small to do all that walking) just to experience "great" shopping. It is more like torture than any kind of fun. Those stores give you the impression that it is cheaper, but good deals are hard to find, and we have looked, trust me. So it is not even worth the money or time to go. To sum up, I do not like the outlet mall.

But my how the tables have turned. A truly wonderful evening happened just outside of San Marcos, at the outlet mall, and I didn't think that was possible. If you read Kenli's blog, you can hear of our wonderful night together, and she wasn't kidding. There are few things in life greater than catching up with old friends. When I say old, I mean best. Especially with a friend that loves, cares, laughs and knows you better than most others, one that time truly does stand still until you see them again. Love you Kenny, Love you. Also, if you need to know about European shoe sizes, just ask Kenli, she is an expert:)

Today is going by so slow and I'll tell you why. My destination: Mexico. When: TODAY! I can hardly handle the anticipation. I have only been to the border town of Juarez, and that is nothing to brag about. So maybe next week I will have a great adventure to write about, if i wake up ever again.
