Here are some funny things and quotes from two great people in my life.
Dad and I were in the car this morning discussing some recent movies out. Now he is typically so closed minded about most things even remotely popular. He is very politically minded, set in his ways, conservative, etc. I couldn't stop laughing when in his grumpy gripy voice he said something like this:
"The Passion of the Christ tanked as far as critics are concerned, but some crap flick about a couple of "bronco billy's" gets great reviews. "
He was talking about the progressive gay love story Brokeback Mountain.
In another conversation Hayden sweetly said:
"I like dolphins...even singing ones."
Last conversation with dad is as follows:
Me: "I've never tried egg nog before."
Dad: "Oh do you like it?"
