ACL

I ended up having a great time at ACL this year. I don't think it is something that I can do every year, at least all three days. It is such an intense experience, and the only real downfall is just sitting and walking in the Texas heat all day. My top acts were Nickel Creek, Matisyahu, Aimee Mann, and The Flaming Lips....so good. At most points, I won't lie, I longed for air conditioning and civilized bathrooms. At other times I was carried away by the music. It takes me to another level, a higher quality of life.

Oh ya, one quick story...We were enjoying The Flaming Lips show and Hayden leans over and says look at those two guys over there. He said one looks just like the guy from the movie Finding Forrister and the other looks like the kid in that House Arrest movie with Jennifer Love Hewit. I look over and sure enough it was those two guys. So I thought why wouldn't I go get a picture with this guy, even though I had no idea what his name was. To make a long story short I did. He was the kid in 3rd Rock from the Sun, Angels in the Outfield, 10 Things I Hate About You, A River Runs Through it. I don't really remember him from A River Runs Through It, but I do know that Brad Pitt was in that movie so really I met someone who met Brad Pitt. His name is Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
