and blasting forth with three-part harmony

The ACL lineup was posted this morning. It never ceases to blow my mind. Hayden and I are set up for Austin City Limits 2007, our third time to enjoy the three day music festival. There is no place like it. We love baking in the hot September sun, keeping as hydrated as we can, laying out a blanket, walking around all day, and enjoying some of the best music (and some good Austin food) played all in one place. When I talked to Hayden this morning I was squealing with joy while reading him the list of bands. Here are the big ones worth squealing about:

Bob Dylan
Bjork
The White Stripes (shout out to the old college roomies)
The Killers
Wilco
Arcade Fire
Muse
My Morning Jacket
Queens of the Stone Age
Bloc Party
Arctic Monkeys
Joss Stone
Damien Rice
Robert Earl Keen
Lucinda Williams
Spoon
Blue October
Indigo Girls
The Decemberists
Paolo Nutini
REGINA SPEKTOR (austin girls???anyone down???perhaps a one day pass?)
Amy Winehouse
Crowded House
Steve Earle
Augustana
Amos Lee
Ben Kweller
Pete Yorn

Now, I still have my own personal list of ACL hopefuls. I don't think some of these will ever come but hey, that's why they are hopefuls...

Imogen Heap
Prince
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Tenacious D
Smashing Pumpkins
Weezer
Pearl Jam
Bare Naked Ladies
311
Jimmy Eat World (so good live)
Green Day (if they played their old stuff)
Sublime (hello high school)
and last but not least...(drum roll)...Guns N' Roses

I would also like to see Counting Crows again because they owe me American Girls live. I'm still a little bitter about that.

Some photos of last years show. peace.
